THQ brings first word of a Red Faction: Guerrilla Collector’s Edition today via the Red Faction Underground community site. The RFG Collector’s Edition (PS3 and Xbox 360 version only, sorry PC gamers) is available for pre-order at GameStop stores now for $89.99 and includes the game, a 5-inch, hand-painted, poly-resin mining walker figurine crafted by Gentle Giant, a bonus DVD/Blu-ray, an art book, and special packaging to store it all in, of course.

THQ’s official blog post on the subject doesn’t go into great detail about the bonus disc or art book, but GameStop’s product page offers a bit more to go on. According to the GameStop listing, the bonus disc is loaded with trailers, behind the scenes videos, the soundtrack, and other goodies, and the art book is of the hard cover variety and contains a world map and strategy guide. The listing also points out that the figurine by itself is valued at $50, so if that is indeed the case this Collector’s Edition looks like it offers a lot of bang for the buck.
