Better draw a big circle around September 15th on your calendar if you’re a PC gamer. We already found out earlier in the week that that’s when the PC version of Red Faction: Guerrilla is scheduled to launch, and now today Capcom has confirmed September 15th as the US ship date for the PC version of Resident Evil 5 (European launch is on for the 18th).

RE5 PC promises to be the “ultimate Resident Evil package,” according to Capcom, thanks to added features such as new character costumes, an improved Mercenaries mode, and support for NVIDIA’s GeForce 3D Vision technology. Capcom’s booths at Comicon 2009 and the Penny Arcade Expo will be demonstrating RE5 with the 3D Vision tech. You can also visit the NVIDIA website right now to download a 3D stereo benchmark demo to sample the tech and test your system’s performance running it, provided you are already equipped with the necessary GeForce 3D Vision hardware of course.
