Resident Evil Chronicles HD Bundle Hits PSN in June, Standalone Releases Follow in July

ResidentEvilChroniclesHD

Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection, the two-game bundle containing remastered PlayStation Move ports of Wii light gun shooters The Umbrella Chronicles and The Darkside Chronicles, is due for North American PlayStation Network release on June 26th. The bundled version will sell for $26.99.

Why the odd price? Because Capcom will also be releasing the two games separately for $14.99 apiece. The few extra bucks off is an obvious (albeit clever) marketing strategy to entice PlayStation Store shoppers to buy the bundle, and buy it at launch. The standalone versions will go on sale starting July 17th.

Having played the Wii versions a ton, these PlayStation 3 remasters should totally be worth it, whether you’re paying $27 or $30.
