Exactly as Matt said – it isn’t great freedom, it is *greater* freedom compared to the PC version.
]]>I haven’t played the DS version so I can’t speak to any bugs, but I’m pretty sure Mike is referring to the game having more sense of freedom than the main console/PC version, which is so heavily scripted to the point where the game kills you off if you deviate in any way from a very specific path each level forces you to follow. He also says “this is still a Call of Duty game and so your options are limited,” so it’s not like he described the game as some free-roam open world shooter.
