MartB64 When you get more EGO points Mart, the co-op missions open up a lot more so you can play “shared” missions that way.  They are similar to the solo (environment and enemy wave progression) but with more bad guys to shoot since there are more players in the environment.  That can be a lot of fun (as long as everyone has the same mind toward completion and not asshattery.

I’m finding my self drawn to playing it over and over. you’re right there is a lot of repetition though and I always try to make a point of stopping and helping others because I know how frustrating some of the missions can get when you’re trying to solo them.
My biggest complaint is that when you’re partied up  I wish you could share the missions (and it’s completion) rather than just being along for the ride and earning just XP and scrip.
