Wow … saw the comment via email and thought ‘that can’t be right’! I had planned a short paragraph about it, because you are absolutely right – orbments stand alongside arts & crafts as major elements in the gameplay. They definitely enhance the experience- thanks for taking time to point that out!

BUT…you missed something important and I feel that your review was amiss in that it did not mention the orbment system.

This orbment system is nothing short of a joy! Every few levels, I love sitting around for 30 minutes or so, just tinkering with my orbments. It is like the Materia system from FF7 and there are so many permutations of quartz lines, depending on the character. I won’t reveal too much for new players but that it quite a good time 🙂
