I’m just glad that the games are good, and they are getting some much-deserved attention in the US.

It was my first exposure to the series as well, but I played it on the PS2 and it was very good on that platform. But the PSP version was a train wreck. Even for me the load times were unbearable, and just the framerate and stuff like that was poorly optimized.

Since then I’ve fallen in love with the series. The Ys compilation Atlus put out on the DS was great fun, and XSEED is bringing it over to PSP next year. I’m definitely eager to dig into The Oath in Felghana and Ys Seven — just have too much else to play right now!
