Rime to Finally Launch in May (Nintendo Switch Version Coming Later)

After a long and winding journey through nearly half a decade in development, Tequila Works is finally almost done with its beautiful third-person puzzle adventure Rime.

Like a cross between Ico, Wind Waker, The Witness, and a Studio Ghibli production, Rime will be out May 26th on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Plans for a Switch version have also been reaffirmed, with a release on Nintendo’s newfangled console-handheld hybrid now targeted for sometime this summer.

Once available, all versions of Rime will be released via digital distribution and boxed retail. The PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions will sell at $29.99, while the Switch version will cost a whole ten bucks more. I’m not sure what that’s all about exactly; I guess it’s a premium for being playable at home and on the go.
