Rocksteady Leaks First Batman: Arkham Asylum Screens

Remember that Batman: Arkham Asylum countdown timer Rocksteady Studios had up on its company website last week? Well on Friday the timer ticked all the way down and the Rocksteady site launched to reveal more info and the first screenshots from the studios’ new dark and gritty Batman game. Almost immediately after, however, the screenshots were taken down. But you know how the Internet works. Once something is posted, someone is going to find it and spread the word. I wasn’t around late last week to catch the apparently-accidental upload myself, but a few eagle-eyed blogs managed to quickly capture the lot of screens before their removal, including Maxim.com’s Blog For Gamers. Follow the link below to eyeball the impressive gallery in its entirety, then mosey on back if you’d like to chat about the game’s grim aesthetics. I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love what I see so far.
