Sacred 3 Fights for Glory on August 26th

Deep Silver, what the hell are you doing to Sacred? I was all excited for the return of the action-RPG series I like more than Diablo, but Sacred 3 is looking more like a cheap Gauntlet knockoff than a true continuation of the series. The game still appears to be good arcade hack ‘n’ slash fun, it’s just that arcade hack ‘n’ slash isn’t what I traditionally look for in a Sacred game.

I’m feeling a bit sour towards the game at the moment, but I’ll keep an open, cautiously optimistic mind until playing Sacred 3 when it ships on August 26th for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
