E3’s not for a couple weeks still, but publishers are already out in full force showing off early looks at some of the big new-gen titles expected to feature prominently at the show. This week alone, new screenshots have been revealed for Batman: Arkham Knight, Evolve (which is confirmed for an October 21st launch), Dragon Age: Inquisition, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, and Metro Redux, the remastered combo pack of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. I’ve also tossed in a gallery for Sunset Overdrive with some hot screenshots and concept art that I missed posting earlier in the month following Insomniac’s full reveal of the Xbox One exclusive.
All those fancy AAA games are great and all, but the best-looking game — at least artistically — of the week may just be Whispering Willows, a 2D horror puzzle game coming soon to OUYA and Steam. Developer Night Light Interactive appears to have something special brewing with this one.
Other new game galleries this week include The Wolf Among Us (from Episode 4), the Wii U Legend of Zelda meets Dynasty Warriors mash-up known as Hyrule Warriors, Unreal 4-powered Warhammer 40K first-person shooter Space Hulk: Deathwing, indie platformer Juju, the newly announced PS Vita edition of Child of Light, and Dead Island: Epidemic, which is no available on Steam Early Access.
