A second walkthrough video for Obsidian Entertainment’s spy shooter/RPG Alpha Protocol has emerged this week. In this installment we get a look at the game’s interactive safe house locales and how they are used between missions to advance the story and empower the player with all sorts of customization options. Still not quite sure I’m sold on the game’s story and shooting mechanics, but the character customization stuff sure looks impressive.

I see loads of influence from Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines (havens), Deus Ex (everything), and also plenty of Mass Effect here. Oh, and the fact that the writing these guys produced in KotOR II and NWN2: Mask of the Betrayer is some of the best since Planescape: Torment … call me sold! 🙂
