See The PS3 Boot Process Without Spending A Fortune

The folks over at PSM3MAG.com were nice enough to post up some videos of their shiny new PlayStation 3 debug kits. In the first video you’re taken through a fairly detailed tour of how the PS3 operates including navigating the menu, starting up a game, and syncing the PS3 up with a wireless controller.

There are two items that caught my interest while watching these videos. First, the PS3’s menus look very much like an enhanced version of the PSP’s interface. So if you’re familiar with how that operates, adapting to the new setup shouldn’t be a problem. Second, the on/off and eject switches are flat with the machine and touch sensitive, which I think is kinda neat.
