Sega Haunts Kinect with Rise of Nightmares

Billed as a “first person horror adventure,” Rise of Nightmares is a new game Sega just announced for global 2011 release exclusively on Xbox 360 Kinect. This two-sentence blurb is the only description Sega is giving at the moment.

Rise of Nightmares offers a spine-tingling horror experience which uses the innovative new controls of Kinect to give players new encounters filled with fearful anticipation and terror. Using their whole body the player will experience fear and tension as never before in this first person horror adventure.

So, for now you’ll just have to use your imagination to formulate an idea of what a first-person horror game with full-body Kinect control will play like. Hopefully it’s a heck of a lot better than that crummy JU-ON: The Grudge Wii game
