Serious Sam Returns This Fall in Glorious HD

Serious Sam III remains shrouded in secrecy, but to tide fans over until the next true installment arrives Croteam has partnered up with Devolver Digital and CDV to remaster the original run-and-gun FPS classic in HD for a worldwide (except for Russia) retail and digital download release on PC this fall — an Xbox Live Arcade version is also coming this summer, but Majesco is reportedly handling that version.

Although the game itself will remain unchanged, Serious Sam HD has been built using Croteam’s proprietary Serious Engine 3, and as you can see in the above comparison shot (right click, “view image” for full size) the new HD graphics put the original to shame. More HD screens on the jump for your viewing pleasure.
