Shiness Still Coming Soon, Still Looking Furry-tastic

It seems like manga-style furry action-RPG Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom has been in a state of “coming soon” for ages now, but alongside the release of a new trailer (see bottom of page) overviewing the game’s core gameplay systems, Enigami and Focus Home have narrowed down the coming-soon window to a targeted release “in just a few weeks.” No, that’s not the specific launch date we all crave, but at least it’s a positive indication that development is winding down and soon PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One gamers will be able to explore the beautifully cel-shaded world of Mahera.

If you plan to buy on Steam, get your pre-order in now for a 15% discount, the official soundtrack in MP3, and a digital PDF copy of the companion manga. And, if you missed it last summer, give our Q&A interview with Enigami a read to learn more about the game.
