Silence: The Whispered World 2 Confirmed for PS4, Still Looks Absolutely Gorgeous

Silence, sequel to point-and-click adventure The Whispered World starring the loveably sad circus clown named Sadwick, is now confirmed to be in development for PlayStation 4, joining previously announced versions for PC/Mac and Xbox One. When the game launches late this year, it will be Daedalic Entertainment’s debut multi-platform production across PC and consoles.

“We now also have Sony’s approval and we’re looking forward to make Silence available to Playstation®4-players”, says Steffen Boos, Daedalic Entertainment’s studio manager. “This makes Silence a fully fledged multi-platform project; for the first time, we can release a game for the high end current-gen consoles which is an important cornerstone for the company. We strongly believe that narrative-driven games like ours will be well received among console players.”

There isn’t anything else to add at this point in terms of new gameplay or story details, but we did receive a fresh batch of screenshots to share with those of you who appreciate pretty things. Have a look at these little lovelies:
