Silent Hill: Book of Memories Haunts PS Vita in Time for Halloween

PlayStation Vita-exclusive Silent Hill spin-off Book of Memories is good to go for an October 16th retail launch, giving portable gamers something gory and spooky to play as they get into the Halloween spirit. Long-time series fans may disown the title for its shift from pure psychological survival-horror to that of an isometric cooperative action game, but personally I don’t mind when established franchises branch out to try new play styles, so I continue to be cautiously optimistic. The fact that WayForward’s on the job also helps ease the fear of a spin-off massacre.
