Silicon Studio Provides YEBIS 2 Middleware for PS4 and Xbox One Development

Accompanying this week’s Xbox One unveiling, game developer and middleware provider Silicon Studio has announced its official partnership with Microsoft to make the company’s YEBIS 2 post-processing tools, previously showcased in the Agni’s Philosophy Final Fantasy tech demo, available to developers working on the new console.

Next-gen game makers on both Xbox One and PS4 can utilize YEBIS 2 for implementing high quality visual effects like glare, depth of field, motion blur and lens flare, as presented in the tech demo footage below.
