Great news survival horror fans, Siren: Blood Curse is all set to go live on PSN later today as part of this week’s PlayStation Store update! Details on the pricing structure for the episodic title have also finally been divulged. The game will be made available in three 4-episode packs for $14.99 apiece and a slightly discounted $39.99 pack containing all 12 episodes. Before you start going crazy with all that “that’s way too expensive for a downloadable game” nonsense, remember this. Siren: Blood Curse is of the same length, scale and quality of a full Blu-ray disc release, in fact in Japan it’s available on both Blu-ray and PSN.
As far as file size is concerned, I don’t have the official numbers yet, but from what I’ve heard the entire 12 episodes will supposedly eat up around 9-10 GB of HDD space. I’m awaiting confirmation from SCEA on this. Will let you know once I hear back.
