Slightly Mad Studios Pumps the Brakes on Project Cars, Launch Date Skids to April

The launch date for Project Cars continues to fall behind like a driver gradually losing ground in a race.

Once scheduled to ship back in November before shifting to a March 17th launch this year, Slightly Mad Studios’ promising challenger to simulation racing giants like Forza and Gran Turismo has had its release pushed back again. Thankfully the delay doesn’t put the game too far off from the previous target, as the Steam PC version will now be out April 2nd, followed by PS4 and Xbox One on April 7th.

Release plans for the Wii U version are still being worked out.

Looking ahead to the feature set Project Cars will offer this spring, a new video has emerged showcasing the game’s in-depth career mode.
