Smurfs Dance Party Shakes Its Groove Thang on Wii

Running wild with the license to the upcoming The Smurfs live-action animated film from Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation, Ubisoft is grooving away on the development of The Smurfs Dance Party, a Wii tie-in game due for release in July. A mini-game collection for the DS, known simply as The Smurfs, is also coming.

Clearly a skin job on Ubisoft’s popular Just Dance series, The Smurfs Dance Party is a family-friendly dancing game in which players will be able to get their boogie on to modern and classic Pop, R&B, Rock and Punk jams as the Smurfs, including favorite characters like Smurfette, Papa Smurf, Clumsy, Brainy, Gutsy and Gargamel. Each of the game’s 20+ tracks will support up to four players and feature dance moves created by professional choreographers.

So, who’s up for a little Smurfs Wii waggle rump shaking?
