Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Cruises Onto Wii U

Sega’s transformative mascot kart racer is out today on all major consoles (and will be coming to 3DS, Vita and PC next month), which of course includes the brand new Wii U in addition to PS3 and Xbox 360. This latest trailer gives you a look at the features unique to the Wii U version, things like the ability to use the GamePad screen as a rear view mirror or as a functional fifth screen for 5-player split-screen play.

I don’t have a Wii U so I can’t speak to the game’s performance and feature set on that console, but I am currently in progress working up a review from the PS3 version (watch for it in the next few days) and so far it’s one super duper fun kart racer. Unless something went horribly wrong in porting the game, this should be an early Wii U must buy for race fans.
