Midway’s classic arcade combat racer, Spy Hunter, turns 30 next year, but that’s not stopping Warner Bros. from getting a head start on the anniversary celebration.
This fall, the G-6155 Interceptor supercar returns to action in a franchise reboot specially designed for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita. The TT Fusion-built Interceptor will come custom made with enough advanced weaponry, gadgets and transformation on board to single-handedly bring down a global terrorist corporation bent on world domination.
As you can see in the CG announcement trailer, the Interceptor can transform from supercar to off-road assault vehicle to speed boat on the fly, and is armed to the teeth with upgradeable machine guns, rocket launchers, chainguns, proximity mines, side-blasting shotguns and, for the first time, an unmanned aerial drone capable of bringing the pain with satellite laser strikes. Slow motion effects and spectacular crash choreography will present the all-terrain devastation with explosive cinematic style.
