It’s Square Enix week over at Steam, in case you haven’t heard, and every day one title is singled out for a massive price reduction. Today, for example, Front Mission Evolved has been marked down by 75% to a price of $12.49.
But the daily deals are nothing compared to the week-long sale of the Square Enix Complete Pack. For just $74.99, you can get Square Enix’s entire Steam catalog of 33 games (plus 16 DLC packs), which is an 88% savings on the catalog’s regular price of $606.68. Not including the DLC, that averages out to a hair over $2 a game!
At that price, even middling games like The Last Remnant, Conflict: Denied Ops, Front Mission Evolved and Kane & Lynch are a bargain, and other better games, such as Batman: Arkham Asylum, Deus Ex, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Thief, Just Cause 2 and Tomb Raider: Underworld, become steals of the century. It’s also a great introduction to a few sleeper gems like Mini Ninjas, Rogue Trooper and Project: Snowblind — games that, sadly, many gamers generally seem to skip over at full price.
