Stalking the Streets of Hope in Hitman: Absolution

IO Interactive’s Tore Blystad and Travis Barbour provide commentary on a walkthrough of Hitman: Absolution‘s “Streets of Hope” level in this new 17-minute gameplay demo. On this mission, Agent 47 has to kidnap a dude, but in order to reach his main target he’ll have to acquire various disguises, assassinate a bunch of other dudes, and basically terrorize the small town while drawing as little attention to himself as possible.

As you’ll see, Absolution has a lot of new mechanics to make life easier for amateur agents, including a Splinter Cell: Conviction-esque point shooting ability for one-shot-killing a group of marked enemies with one sweeping animation. But fear not, elite hitmen, a purist difficulty option will be available to remove the guide elements and up the challenge.
