Already in development for PS3 and Xbox 360, Capcom’s crossover tag team fighting game Street Fighter X Tekken is now bringing the fight to the portable arena of the PlayStation Vita.
An early version of the game was live demoed during Sony’s E3 press conference, and appeared to run smooth and look on par with what’s been seen of the console versions. Some form of touch screen control system will supposedly be implemented so entry level gamers can ease into the fight (sort of like Super Street Fighter IV on the 3DS, I’m assuming), but other than that details are slim at this point, as far as cloud save support and stuff like that is concerned.
One neat bonus that has been announced, though, is a collaboration with Sucker Punch to bring Infamous‘ star, Cole MacGrath, to the PS Vita and PS3 versions of the game as an exclusive bonus fighter.
Street Fighter X Tekken is scheduled for release sometime in 2012.
I want to ask them why they don*t want or why they can*t do infamous on ps vita , because it*s a very interesting game! And now , when they invent the second analog stick , they can do it!!!!
No one said they can’t or don’t want to do Infamous on the Vita, it’s just not in the plans for the system’s launch period. I would be shocked if Infamous and all the major Sony franchises don’t make an appearance on PS Vita at some point.
