Super Mario 3D Land Introduces Boomerang Mario, Mystery Boxes

We’ve already seen that Nintendo is bringing back the beloved Tanooki suit in Super Mario 3D Land, shipping November 13th for Nintendo 3DS. But it looks like Mario still has a couple tricks up his sleeve for his 3D portable adventure. As seen in the latest trailer, Mario can hop into the all-new Boomerang suit and pop off Boomerang Bros. and other enemies from afar. Also new are Mystery Boxes, which appear to be some form of bonus challenge rooms discovered and exchanged via StreetPass. Pretty slick!
