Super Mario Galaxy Jigsaw Assembly is a Go!

Remember that Super Mario Galaxy jigsaw puzzle I told you about a few days ago? Well, I ordered one, and it just came in. Oh, goodie!

I spent around an hour getting it started earlier this morning, and in that time I managed to get the entire border pieced together — now I just have to fill it all in!

My first thoughts: the Wii-shaped box itself is a heavy-duty, collectible quality, and the puzzle is actually larger than I imagined. I didn’t realize how big 18′ x 24′ actually was until I assembled the border. In fact, the cork bulletin board I’ve always used in the past for puzzles and other little projects is too small to hold it.

Needless to say, I’m very happy with the purchase. I’ll check back in with a pic of the finished puzzle once it’s, well…finished, of course!

[Update - August 29, 2010] It’s finished. Check it out!
