Yes, it’s true folks. Super Smash Bros. Brawl has been delayed yet again in Japan and North America. Brawl, previously slated to ship on January 24th in Japan and February 10th in North America, is now scheduled to ship in Japan in February (that’s according to Next-Gen, though Kotaku says it’s now coming on January 31st) and in North America on March 9th. Official word on the delay has been posted at the Smash Bros. Dojo!!, reading as follows:

Due to delays in the completion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, we’ve had to change the release date of the game to Sunday, March 9th.

I deeply apologize to the people who have looked forward to playing the game for so long and ask that you hold on just a little longer. Thank you for your patience.
