They were announced together earlier this year at E3, so it’s only fitting that they launch together on the same day: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U along with the debut collection of Skylanders-esque Amiibo figures are scheduled to ship simultaneously on November 21st.

The Wii U edition of Super Smash Bros. will sell for $59.99. Amiibos will retail at $12.99 per figure. Oh yeah, now that’s a money trap right there.

Twelve Nintendo mascots are slated to appear in toy form as part of the Amiibo launch lineup, including Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Fox, Samus, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Pikachu, Kirby and Marth. A second wave of six figures, including Zelda, Diddy Kong, Luigi, Little Mac, Pit and Captain Falcon, will follow in December.

If you don’t feel like doing the math on your own, the full collection of first and second wave figures will set you back a grand total of $233.82. A money trap indeed.
