The chopstick styli are so fitting. The game truly does advance the GTA series and make the DS look a whole lot sexier. They’ve got a cool site up at http://www.gamestopchinatown.com too.

I do tend to bang around and have gotten into police trouble once or twice, but that is more about my driving incompetence than dual screens!

I do find myself irritated occasionally at the typical GTA mission style of ‘there is only one way to do this, and we’ve changed some rules … so figure it out’. Cars become indestructible, and so on, just to force you to accomplish a certain task.

Do you have trouble keeping track of both screens while driving though? I often find myself crashing into things (usually cops, of course!) while looking back and forth between screens to keep an eye on the GPS and driving at the same time.

Trucks feel big and ponderous, while sports cars feel graceful and *fast* – all on those tiny screens!

After playing more last night it’s just pure fun despite frequently failing and replaying missions (and a fairly flimsy story). I’m blown away by how well Rockstar managed to create a living breathing Liberty City on the DS. Right now I’d have to say it’s probably my favorite game in the series.

I’m loving this one – not a rabid GTA fan, but I did like the PSP games, and thought the PC version of GTA4 was decent once they took care of most of the inexcusable bugs. But this one is a blast … even if I constantly fail missions …
