Call of Duty: Black Ops‘ third DLC pack, Annihilation, is now available on Xbox Live, featuring four new multiplayer maps and a new Shangri-La Zombies mission that looks like a jungle of co-op fun. If you were to buy the map pack, it would set you back 1,200 Microsoft Points. But if you don’t have that kind of money to spare on a handful of maps, we’re here to help at least one of you expand your Black Ops experience for free!

Prize: 1 code to download the Call of Duty: Black Ops Annihilation map pack from Xbox Live for Xbox 360. DLC valued at 1,200 Microsoft Points ($15).

Call of Duty, Zombies and The Lion King Unite

Call of Duty: Black Ops‘ latest map pack DLC, Annihilation, launches tomorrow exclusively on Xbox Live for Xbox 360, and amongst the added content will be a new Zombies map called Shangri-La. This new trailer, featuring mass zombie killing and cymbal-banging monkey toys strapped with explosives set to one of The Lion King‘s catchiest tunes, is pure magic, whether you are a Black Ops fan or not. Seriously, it makes me wish I had a DVD of The Lion King so I could watch and listen to it while playing the game at the same time.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Annihilation Map Pack Video Preview

The third round of downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops is fast on its way, and per usual it will be released first on Xbox 360 via Xbox Live beginning June 28th, with the PC and PS3 versions to follow shortly thereafter.

Annihilation, the name of the third map pack, will contain four new multiplayer maps — Hangar 18, Drive-In, Silo and Hazard — as well as a new Shangri-La map for Zombies mode. The video embedded up top provides a full preview of the new content.

A Double XP weekend will take place starting on Friday, July 1st to celebrate the DLC launch. Expect to have to throw down the standard, inflated price of $15 (1200 MS Points) to add the Annihilation pack to your Black Ops multiplayer arsenal.
