The Red Star Shoots Up iPhone App Store http://www.vgblogger.com/the-red-star-shoots-up-iphone-app-store/5869/ Tue, 22 Jun 2010 21:07:20 +0000 http://www.vgblogger.com/?p=5869 RedStariPhone.jpg

Over three months after its rebirth on the PSP, XS Games’ cult-classic shoot-’em-up brawler The Red Star has arrived on the iPhone. You can get the full game for a mere $4.99 — the PSP version is $15 (and worth every penny) — or try before you buy with the free lite version. From what I’ve seen of the game in action, the iPhone version doesn’t look up to par with the PSP or PS2 versions, but I have no play experience with it to know for sure. Either way, it’s totally worth a shot if you enjoy “Bullet Hell” shooters and/or arcade beat-’em-ups.

Read my review of the PSP version for more.
