Yes! Chibi-Robo, Nintendo’s loveably diminutive household helper robot, is getting a brand new game for the 3DS.
Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash, set to launch in October, is a side-scrolling platformer in which the eponymous robot uses his tethered power plug to solve puzzles and whip enemies.
Better yet, a bundle with the game and a Chibi-Robo amiibo will be sold at retail. Using the amiibo with the game will transform little Chibi into Super Chibi-Robo for added power in certain stages. Additionally, by saving scores at the end of each stage the amiibo will level up and unlock various in-game collectibles.
This latest Chibi-Robo adventure is just one of the announcements made during today’s surprise Nintendo Direct Micro. Other notable announcements, as seen in the full video presentation below, include Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure for a June 11th launch on 3DS eShop, and a sequel to Bravely Default coming in 2016.
