THQ and Relic Entertainment are now recruiting new soldiers for Company of Heroes Online, as the free-to-play multiplayer RTS game officially enters its open beta phase.

The open beta features:

– Allies and Axis armies, each with three different divisions to choose from
– 17 multiplayer maps
– 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 match types
– Free access to the complete Company of Heroes single-player campaign

Additionally, if you register for the beta before September 8th, you will receive a free in-game item pack as a bonus to give you an early edge. This bonus pack comes with 3,000 Supply Points to spend in the shop, 500 Experience Points to level up your commander, one Hero Unit and one Army Item.
