Nintendo has revealed the next wave of amiibo figures that’s scheduled to ship on September 11th.
Synched with the launch of Super Mario Maker for Wii U, the Super Mario Bros. 30th Anniversary Mario amiibo is modeled after the Mushroom Kingdom superstar plumber’s classic 8-bit appearance.
On that same date, new amiibo in the Super Smash Bros. series will arrive, including Bowser Jr., Dr. Mario, Ganondorf, Olimar, and Zero Suit Samus.
Retail configuration and schedule changes have also been announced for the amiibo figures announced back during E3. First up, the Duck Hunt, Mr. Game & Watch, and R.O.B. amiibo will launch on September 25th in a “Retro 3 Pack” bundle.
Similarly, the Mii Brawler, Mii Gunner, and Mii Swordfighter figures will come together as a Mii Fighters 3-pack set. Unfortunately, while these Mii Fighter amiibo were originally planned to arrive in September, their arrival has now been pushed back to November.

While announcing the massive Super Smash Bros. DLC drop today, Nintendo has unveiled a new wave of amiibo figures scheduled to launch later in the year.
Designed to honor the game’s Mii Fighters, figures for Mii Brawler, Mii Swordfighter, and Mii Gunner will be configurable with custom faces and any accessories and costumes the player using them has collected.
Other Super Smash Bros. amiibo on tap for later this year include R.O.B., Duck Hunt, Mr. Game & Watch, and Falco. Falco will release in December, while the Mii Fighters and the other three figures will all ship in September.
Nintendo has also made it clear that all playable fighters from Super Smash Bros. will eventually have a matching amiibo figure for fans to collect. Yes, that does include the new DLC fighters Lucas, Roy, and Ryu, as well as Mewtwo.
