de Blob 2 is only five days away from launch, but if, like me, you are having trouble waiting, pop over to Facebook or Kongregate and play de Blob Revolution, a newly launched Flash game that quickly satisfies the urge to paint the world every color of the rainbow.
de Blob Revolution condenses the platform painting gameplay of the main console games into a simple and visually vibrant puzzle game. Each level is set up like a maze, and the objective is to navigate the grid, rescue the Graydians, and reach the exit without crossing de Blob’s paint trail. It’s pretty easy, but there are higher difficulties to unlock, and as the game progresses a timer is introduced and eventually Inkies begin chasing after you.

Better still, within the app are free downloads for five desktop wallpapers and three full songs from the game’s hypnotic soundtrack, so you’ll want to check it out just for those freebies.
Oh, and while you’re in a de Blob mood, go ahead and watch the new ‘AntiSocial Network’ trailer as well. It should definitely put a smile on your face at the end of a long day.

Celebrating the recent UK launch of Patapon 2, Sony Europe has teamed up with Netherlands-based online game distributor SPIL GAMES and developer Kerb to launch a Flash mini-game titled Patapon 2: The Art of War. Playable on PC and Mac, The Art of War features three short levels of basic Patapon gameplay with the arrow keys on your keyboard serving as the drumbeat controls (left arrow is your Pata, right arrow is your Pon). At the end of each level you unlock various background, character and enemy graphics based on your score, and then once all levels have been completed you get to make a wallpaper using the unlocked art.
Patapon 2: The Art of War is available to play now at sites like gamesgames.com and agame.com. The only catch is the game will only be available for one short week. Starting today, it will remain live until March 16th.
Already available in Japan and Europe, the real PSP Patapon 2 ships in the US on May 5th, as revealed last week in this new teaser trailer.
