Been wondering what happened to Legendary? Hey, join the club! It was originally supposed to ship September 30th, but that date came and went and Spark Unlimited’s shooter was nowhere to be seen. Then the news broke about SouthPeak acquiring Gamecock (clearly the reason the game got delayed) and would be publishing the game, but a new ship date still wasn’t given.

Finally, though, I can now tell you when it’s going to ship. For real this time. The official news won’t drop until tomorrow, but Rob Fleischer, Sandbox Strategies PR front man for SouthPeak/Gamecock, has informed me this evening that Legendary is set to ship next week on November 4th for PS3 and Xbox 360. The PC version will then follow a couple weeks later on November 18th.

Thanks for the tip Rob!

First Insecticide PC Episode Goes Gold, Finally Gets a Release Date! http://www.vgblogger.com/first-insecticide-pc-episode-goes-gold-finally-gets-a-release-date/3189/ Thu, 05 Jun 2008 19:24:49 +0000 http://www.vgblogger.com/?p=3189 Insecticide PC-4.jpg

Finally, finally, FINALLY! The first episode in the bisodic downloadable PC version of Insecticide has gone gold and is all set to hit the internets, at long last. Crackpot Entertainment’s bug-filled action/adventure title will be launching next week on June 13th via GameTap, Direct2Drive, and Paradox (which I presume means GamersGate) for a price of $14.99. I’m a bit surprised there’s no Steam release set, but hopefully one will come at some point.
