There were rumors swirling before Sony’s E3 briefing about a potential God of War 4 tease. That didn’t happen, but that doesn’t meant that our angry pal Kratos was completely missing in action. PSP classics God of War: Chains of Olympus and God of War: Ghost of Sparta are uniting for a remastered Blu-ray combo pack on PS3, complete with 1080p HD graphics, stereoscopic 3D support, PSN trophies and DLC bonus items.

If you’ve been waiting for the release of the God of War: Chains of Olympus PSP Entertainment Pack to finally take the plunge and buy yourself Sony’s portable, I have good news to report. Without much in the way of advance notice, SCEA has announced that the Chains of Olympus PSP bundle is due to land on store shelves today. For $200, the bundle includes a copy of God of War: Chains of Olympus, the comedy movie Superbad on UMD, a coupon good towards the free download of Syphon Filter: Combat Ops, and the special “Deep Red,” Kratos-emblazoned PSP system. Sweet deal. If you don’t own a PSP yet, I’d jump on this offer before it’s gone.
