The voice cast for Batman: Arkham Knight has finally been revealed. Well, for all the major characters except for the mysterious Arkham Knight.

It’s a star-studded cast, featuring the return of Kevin Conroy as Batman, Jonathan Banks as James Gordon, Ashley Greene as Barbara Gordon, John Noble as Scarecrow, Scott Porter as Nightwing, and Tara Strong as Harley Quinn. And, of course, it wouldn’t be a modern AAA video game without Troy Baker and Nolan North, who reprise their respective roles as Two-Face and Penguin.

Hit play on “The Voices of Arkham” video below for inside-the-booth interviews with Banks, Conroy, Greene, and Noble discussing their character motivations and performances.

Batman: Arkham Knight Launch Pushed Back a Few Weeks http://www.vgblogger.com/batman-arkham-knight-launch-pushed-back-a-few-weeks/31834/ Mon, 23 Mar 2015 14:07:28 +0000 http://www.vgblogger.com/?p=31834

At this point, I think we’ve all learned that in modern gaming it is never wise to trust the first or in many cases even the second release date announced for a game. They just never seem to hold up anymore.

Batman: Arkham Knight is only the latest AAA game to incur multiple delays. It had originally been slated for last October but was ultimately pushed to June 2nd of this year. The new launch date is officially set for June 23, 2015. So a few weeks off target, but at least it’s still coming within the same month as previously planned.

Continuing to look on the bright side, there’s a new trailer (up top) out today providing a sneak peek at around seven minutes of straight gameplay from the game’s first chapter. The core gameplay appears to be exactly the same as you remember from the previous titles, but the visuals sure have taken a mighty leap forward. The on-the-fly transitions from Batmobile to on-foot/in-flight Batman look pretty damn sweet as well. After being a bit skeptical of the addition of Batmobile gameplay, this video has brought me around to the idea.

Oh and one last thing. Unless I just have too much Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul on the brain, the new voice actor for Commissioner Jim Gordon sure sounds a whole lot like Jonathan Banks, who you will likely know better as the gruff assassin, enforcer and all-around badass, Mike Ehrmantraut.
