EA has released another fun, little MySims SkyHeroes parody trailer, following up its goof on Dead Space with a video poking fun at Salem and Rios of Army of Two fame.

The above graphic showing Commander Shepard from Mass Effect, Salem and Rios from Army of Two, Dusty from Medal of Honor, Isaac from Dead Space, and Morrigan from Dragon Age as “The Unlockables” was also released today. And yes, I have confirmed with EA that these are all unlockable characters in the game. Very cool!

MySims SkyHeroes is available now for DS, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360. I should have a copy coming in any day now, and I’ll let you know what the game is like once it arrives.

And guess what? The game launches today for DS, Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360. Talk about arriving late to the party!

You won’t get any sense of what MySims SkyHeroes the game is actually like from this trailer (it’s a cutesy flight combat game from what I just read on EA’s press site), but tying any game in with Dead Space is a surefire way to attract an audience of gamers who probably wouldn’t have been interested otherwise. Case in point: in a matter of minutes I went from not knowing a lick about this game to suddenly being compelled to play it. Hell, I now want EA to make a real MySims Dead Space game out of this!
