This year marks the 10th anniversary of 2K Sports’ vaunted NBA 2K basketball simulation franchise, and in honor of this grand milestone 2K will be offering a special “Anniversary Edition” of NBA 2K10 on PS3 and Xbox 360 when the game releases this fall (the game will also be available for PC, PS2, PSP and Wii in standard edition form).

As you can see pictured, the NBA 2K10: Anniversary Edition will come with some cool Kobe Bryant goodies, including a 16” x 36” poster and a 3” figurine crafted by McFarlane Toys, along with a commemorative anniversary DVD, access to the game’s VIP online lobby called the Gold Room, and a sweet storage locker (with combination lock) containing shelf space for 20 game boxes. 10 of the bundles will also randomly include an autographed Kobe Bryant fine-art print tucked inside the locker.

2K’s press release doesn’t mention a price, but GameStop is accepting pre-orders with a price point of $99.99. That is definitely pricey, but as far as special edition packages go this is one of the best I’ve seen. And only 30,000 copies will be produced, so yes, it really is a limited edition.

There are actually three different box art candidates (plus a joke cover with Kobe in a Knicks uni), and 2K will be opening up a vote-off for fans to choose the one they want. Scroll below to see the three choices and get a head start on deciding which to vote for.
