Nintendo’s number-based, block-breaking DS puzzle game Picross 3D is now available in demo form on the Wii’s Nintendo Channel. Simply transmit the download on your Wii and sync it up with your DS and you’re good to go.
So far it’s a lot of fun, and there seems to be a fair amount of content for a demo. I’ve completed the “How to Play” tutorial with three sample puzzles, and a “Circles” tutorial unlocks thereafter with three more sample puzzles. Not sure if there’s any more after that yet.
The full version of Picross 3D ships on May 3rd.

If you’d like to learn how to play Knights in the Nightmare before diving into the full game on June 2nd, go grab your DS, fire up your Wii, tune in to the Nintendo Channel and download the new demo Atlus released today. Available only for a limited time, the demo is actually a tutorial teaching the basics of the game’s unique gameplay features and mechanics.
And if you like what you see in the demo and plan on buying the game next month, don’t forget to pre-order for the amazing “Tome of Lost Souls” art book.

Now’s your chance to get a sneak peek trial run with TrackMania‘s DS debut before it ships out to retailers next week on March 17th. This week, Atlus USA has launched a playable three-race demo to the Wii’s Nintendo Channel, so if you’re mulling over whether or not to grab the full game and own a Wii with your DS you’ll want to log on now and give it a go. The demo will only be available for a limited time as well. Better hurry and get your test drive in before it’s too late.

Big Bang Mini launches at retail this Wednesday, but if you own a Wii with your DS you can now get a preview of Arkedo Studio’s fireworks shooter via the playable demo SouthPeak Games released today on the Wii’s Nintendo Channel. In the demo you can play through levels from the Hong Kong, Aurora and Luxor worlds, three of the full game’s nine total worlds and 90+ levels. After trying the demo, if you’d still rather wait to see how the full game turns out before investing your $20 I’ll have a review coming soon. Just waiting on the review copy to arrive, which should be late this week or early next. I’ll post my impressions soon thereafter. Stay tuned…
