But, overhauled 3D graphics aside, what’s new to the game on the 3DS? According to this new trailer, there are three key feature additions: 1) a hint movie system to help guide stumped players past tricky puzzles; 2) a touch screen interface for using two additional items and general inventory and map management; 3) and a Boss Challenge mode allowing players to replay bosses, time attack style. Not covered in the video but just as important, the game will also feature the Master Quest as an unlockable and motion controls for aiming Link’s slingshot and bow.

Nintendo has released a bunch of new artwork for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, due for 3DS release on June 19th, and needless to say it’s absolutely gorgeous stuff. The bulk of the gallery consists of character and enemy concepts, but the first six illustration pieces are true works of art, and if you’re a Zelda fan at least one of them is destined to become your next desktop wallpaper. I just set the piece highlighted up top as my own wallpaper, but it’ll definitely get rotated out for the one of Link and Sheik standing back to back playing the ocarina and lyre together. Which will you choose?
