Here’s a fun-looking indie game to watch for if you’re into couch multiplayer fighting games. It goes by the name Paperbound, and it is made by Dissident Logic. The game is a mash-up of characters and worlds pulled from old storybooks like Dante’s Inferno, The Book of the Dead, and The Journey to the Center of the Earth, with some crossover indie all-star guest fighters thrown in for good measure. Oh yeah, and the brawls take place in arenas with inverted gravity, so the action unfolds while running up walls or hanging upside down from the ceiling. It’s shear madness!

Paperbound is scheduled to launch sometime in February on PlayStation 4 and Steam.
