Atlus sure knows how to treat its fans, consistently offering the best gift-with-purchase freebies and special edition extras in the business. Now they’re doing something extra special for Persona fans, unifying the upcoming fall launches of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth through a cross-game series of collectible tarot cards.
Pre-orders and first print copies of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax on PS3 and Xbox 360 will contain an inflatable Teddie punching bag as well as set #1 of the Tarot card collection, including Arcanas 0-X.

Pre-orders and the first printing of Nintendo 3DS exclusive Persona Q will then ship with set #2 (Arcanas XI – XXI), plus special packaging. Want the whole collection? Then you’re going to have to buy both games like a true Persona collector.
If the standard edition Persona Q doesn’t do it for you, there’s a second option. “The Wild Cards” premium edition features the same special packaging and second set of tarot cards in addition to an art booklet, the soundtrack on CD, and a 3DS XL hard travel case. The premium edition costs $79.99 compared to just $49.99 for the regular version.

You saw Atlus USA’s announcement of four new games in the Persona franchise earlier in the week, now it’s time to see what those games look like in screenshot form. Persona 5 remains an enigma, but for now we can at least see what Persona 4: Dancing All Night, Persona 4: Arena Ultimax and Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth look like. The first ever English translation of Shin Megami Tensei is also finally headed our way as an iOS title.
Other games featured on this edition of Screenshot Saturday include The Walking Dead: Season Two Episode 2 – A House Divided, the newly announced Risen 3, the HD revival of Cel Damage for all three PlayStation platforms, a PC port of Deus Ex: The Fall, a variety of PC indies, and more!

Atlus USA has done gone Persona crazy, today confirming plans to localize the four franchise titles that were announced in Japan back in November for North American gamers to enjoy, beginning with two launches this fall and then another two in 2015.
The two Fall 2014 titles include Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, an Etrian Odyssey style cross-over RPG for Nintendo 3DS, and Arc System Works’ PS3 and Xbox 360 fighting game sequel, Persona 4: Arena Ultimax.
On tap for 2015 are PlayStation Vita rhythm dancing game Persona 4: Dancing All Night, and then, of course, the biggest of all big guns, Persona 5 for PS3!
Now that’s a lot of Persona action coming our way. Only one true continuation of the Persona series, but the spin-offs are looking hot, too. Let’s go to the video tape, shall we?
