Nether, the post-apocalyptic survival-horror MMO first-person shooter from Phosphor Games, has been revealed today for a fall 2013 early access launch on Windows PC. The game will take place in a persistent urban setting, where players will gather food, weapons and supplies and fight for survival against demonic beasts and other humans. Players will choose to trust other human players or take on the horrors of the decimated city all alone, a “Prey or Pray” approach as the developer puts it.
The game is in the alpha phase of development and therefore is currently looking pretty rough around the edges (and rather empty for an MMO), but the concept definitely has potential. See what you think.
