Happy Tuesday everyone! Today, Activision launches Rezurrection, the fourth DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops, on Xbox Live for Xbox 360, introducing a new Moon Zombies mode map alongside four remastered Zombies maps from Call of Duty: World at War, a soundtrack and a dashboard theme.
If you already purchased a Hardened or Prestige Edition of Black Ops, you can relax because you already get the full pack for free. But if the standard edition was all that you could afford, the latest DLC will set you back the customary 1200 MS Points. For five of you, though, it won’t cost a penny, because VGBlogger has a handful of download codes to give away, courtesy of Activision.
Now, who’s in the mood for some lunar zombie killing?

Call of Duty: Black Ops‘ Zombies saga goes out with a bang on August 23rd, when the next DLC pack, Rezurrection, launches first on Xbox Live for Xbox 360, before eventually arriving on PC and PS3. A Double XP event will be hosted over Labor Day weekend in celebration of the new DLC and the Call of Duty XP fan experience, which was also declassified today.
The Rezurrection add-on is dedicated entirely to the Zombies co-op survival mode, expanding Black Ops‘ undead slaying with a mix of new and old content. Headlining the pack is a new map titled Moon, a low-G lunar battleground filled with “outrageous weapons, high-tech gear, and a bloodthirsty undead menace.” Activision and Treyarch promise that it will be the “most challenging and thrilling Zombies adventure yet.”
In addition, the four maps that started the Zombies craze in World at War–Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese–will be included in remastered form. For the 1200 Microsoft Points asking price, players will also receive a three-song soundtrack and a Zombies Moon theme.
If you are a Black Ops diehard with a Hardened or Prestige edition in hand, you’ll be treated to the whole shebang for the low price of free. Of course, you already paid the premium collector’s edition price to get the four remastered maps, but you’re still getting the Moon map, the soundtrack and the theme as a nice thank you for being such a loyal fan.
