Sumo Digital’s serpentine collectathon physics platformer Snake Pass has a confirmed North American launch date of March 28th for PC (Steam and Windows 10), PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One. Gamers in Europe get the game a day later, on the 29th.
Each console version will have something unique to offer. On PS4, the game will support PlayStation 4 Pro for increased graphical fidelity. From the Microsoft side, the game will feature Xbox Play Anywhere support, allowing customers to play on both Xbox One and Windows 10 from a single purchase, including achievement, save data, and DLC cloud synching. And with the Nintendo Switch version, the game will be playable in all of the system’s unique modes–TV mode, Handheld mode, and Tabletop mode–with support for the Joy-Con and Switch Pro controllers.
As for PC gamers, keyboard and mouse controls will be supported, though the developers have made it clear that a gamepad (support for Xbox 360, Xbox One, DualShock 4, and Steam controllers are confirmed) will be best suited for coiling and slithering Doodle the snake through the colorful, luscious game world. Displaying the game’s vibrant environments will demand the following minimum system specs:
